About Taylor

Taylor James is the founder of TaylorMade Podcasts, an award winning podcast production business built on a passion for great conversations and the power of storytelling. Taylor’s journey started in a bedroom, recording conversations and figuring things out as he went. Since then, that passion has grown into multiple studios, working with businesses, brands and creators to launch and produce podcasts that make an impact. Having helped launch over 30 shows, including five number one podcasts, Taylor has built his business on creativity, relationships and a willingness to say yes before feeling completely ready. His journey is a reminder that you don’t need to have everything figured out to get started. Sometimes, you just need to press record.

Proudest achievements

Some of my proudest achievements include winning an Independent Podcast Award for Best Health & Wellness Podcast with The Waffle Shop Podcast, reaching over one million downloads, and taking the show from a bedroom recording setup to sold out live shows and stages across the UK.
I've been fortunate enough to work on podcasts in some of the UK's biggest stadiums, help launch over 30 shows, including five number one podcasts, and grow TaylorMade Podcasts from the ground up.
Being a head judge at the British Podcast Awards is another huge milestone, giving me the opportunity to celebrate the incredible talent and creativity within the industry.
But beyond the awards, downloads and milestones, one of my proudest achievements is building a business around something I genuinely love, creating opportunities for others to share their stories, and proving to myself that taking a risk on your own potential can be worth it.
